What labs do I need to submit?
For the Lab Analysis service to be effective, our practitioners need relevant and current lab results. Please check your records to confirm you have the minimum lab markers for your health goals, as listed below, and that they were tested within the last three months.
If you don’t have recent or necessary lab results, you may take the lists below to your primary care physician or order them through our office.
Examples: hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s, Graves, nodules, cysts, goiter, etc
Minimum testing required: TSH, free T3, free T4, reverse T3, TPO AB and TgAB
Examples: high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc
Minimum testing required: lipid panel, CBC w/diff, CMP, HgbA1c, CRP, homocysteine
All other health goals
Examples: optimizing overall health, diabetes, liver health, gallstones, kidney health, etc
Minimum testing: lipid panel, CBC w/diff, CMP, HgbA1c, TSH, uric acid, GGT, LDH
How do I know what labs I have?
Since we don’t expect you to know what a CBC or CMP panel is, we’ve created a simple checklist with all the common panels and individual markers listed out by both their abbreviations and full names. When you receive your new client intake forms, simply check off the tests you have listed on your lab results so we can quickly determine if you have the appropriate tests for your health concern.
Your blood test will usually list at the top which tests were ordered, but if not, you can simply check the boxes on our checklist line by line with your blood test.
Go ahead and send in your blood work and we will help you out.
Can I send additional information along with my bloodwork and paperwork so my practitioner can understand more of what I need?
If you have additional test results such as hormone panels, food intolerance or allergy testing, hair mineral analysis etc. from within the last 3 months, you are welcome to submit them. If you have more to tell us than is covered by the intake forms, please share in the extra space on our health questionnaire.
How soon will I receive my protocol?
You will receive your protocol within one week of your assigned date. We schedule analysis requests on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will be notified of this date upon confirmation and receipt of your paperwork.
Will I receive one-on-one email support or talk on the phone with my practitioner?
In order to minimize the cost of this service, we do not offer email or phone consults with our practitioners for this particular package. If you’d like to book a one-on-one consult for additional support, please contact our office by phone or email.
If I purchase this package, recieve my protocol and decide I’d like to book a one-on-one consultation, what do I do?
If you decide within the first month of receiving your lab analysis protocol that you would prefer to have one-on-one support, you may apply your lab analysis fee to the cost of an initial consultation. You will be scheduled for a 60 min initial consultation to review your original labs and paperwork with your practitioner for $223.
If you decide after completing your lab analysis protocol that you would prefer to have one-on-one support instead of following up with a second lab analysis, you qualify for a discounted initial consultation. You will be scheduled for a 90 min initial consultation to review your new labs (if you have them) and updated paperwork with your practitioner for $300.
After either one of these initial consultations, you may schedule additional follow ups as per the fee schedule of our traditional clients (see https://www.biodynamicwellness.com/nutritional-consultations/ for consultation fee schedule).
Will my supplements for all three months be shipped automatically?
Upon receiving your protocol, you will receive an email with a price estimate of a 90 day supply of the recommended supplements. You are more than welcome to approve the complete purchase or opt to have only the first month supply shipped to you. If you choose to only have a partial supply delivered, you will need to contact the office to order your refills as needed.
I only had a one month supply of supplements shipped to me, how do I reorder?

What if my doctor won’t order labs for me?
No problem, we are happy to order them for you. Just contact our office and we can create a requisition for you to take to a Quest Diagnostics lab near you. We can recommend a comprehensive panel or more focused lab work based on your specific health concerns. Our pricing is very competitive and better than most online lab services.

What if my doctor already reviewed my test results and said everything looked fine?
We can still support you to optimize your health. Doctors are trained to diagnose and treat disease, we are not. Your doctor will screen your lab results for numbers that are outside of ranges used to diagnose disease. So if your doctor says everything looks fine, great! But if you still don’t feel fine, we are here to help. As nutritionists, we are trained to recognize the grey area between a disease state and optimal health. So we are screening your lab results for numbers outside of what we call “optimal ranges,” and our protocols are designed to support you move towards optimal health.
What if I’ve completed the 3-month protocol and want to receive further help?
Congratulations on completing your first 90 protocol with us! We would be happy to review your follow up labs and updated intake forms to evaluate your progress and create a revised protocol to continue to support you on your health journey. Simply contact the office and let them know you would like to schedule a Lab Work Analysis follow up. Since the amount of lab work and paperwork to be reviewed is the same each time, each follow up is also billed at $127. Alternatively, you are welcome to schedule a one-on-one consult with your practitioner at any time.
Can you guarantee results?
As with most other healthcare providers, we cannot guarantee results with any of our clients. It is our goal to create the most individualized and effective protocols based on the information you provide us, but due to the biochemical individuality of every client we cannot guarantee specific health outcomes.
